Fast forward to 2003, I Bought a book at Home Depot, an orange book, How to Rehab Houses, would work during the day, rehab houses at night with some friends. And then realized the first house I bought had $140,000 in equity doing it part-time. That was probably five times what I was making when I was selling telecommunications.
So I quit my job after I bought three houses in three months. I got into real estate full-time and have never looked back, and I’ve never worked a day in my life since then. I sold around 175 - 200 a year. Worked for a couple different brokerages, and then I would sell anywhere between 50 to 80 houses myself.
I got asked to be in the leadership, took that role, and that office went from losing a lot of money to a net gain over a million, and that office was probably top 10 in America in growth at the time, in development of the agents. Did that for about six or seven years, and then I got into real estate investing full-time.
In 2018 I got in with Keller Williams, started a real estate fund, and then that led me into an Ownership role within a Keller Williams office. I scaled and grew that office and today that office will do over 2 billion in sales. Now I have a new leader in there taking over my role there and I’m one of the owners, GM there. And then we acquired another company in the main line outside Philadelphia. Turned that around from roughly 200 million to 1 billion in sales in two years.
At some point my buddies were saying, how many can you impact? Currently, I don’t want to coach in masses right now where I’m at in my career. I want to coach people that I fit with and they fit with me.
